Description

The Single Bumper Protection Mat is a practical accessory for protecting your vehicle’s bumper when loading and unloading dogs. It gives a grippy surface between the dog box and the vehicle, helping reduce scuffs, scratches and everyday wear around the rear load area.

Made from durable 3 mm anti slip rubber, the mat gives dogs better footing as they enter and exit the cage. This is useful for daily use, working dogs and vehicles where the bumper takes regular contact during loading.

The mat measures 600 mm wide by 1200 mm deep, making it a good fit for single cage setups and narrower vehicle load areas.

When not in use, the mat can be hooked onto the front of your dog box for simple storage. It is suitable for use with Dog Box UK cages as well as other makes and models, making it a useful add-on for most vehicle dog transport setups.

The added grip also helps reduce cage movement by sitting between the box and the vehicle floor.

Need help choosing the right dog cage?

Choosing the correct dog cage depends on your dog, your vehicle and how you plan to use it. Before ordering, we recommend checking your available boot or load space and comparing it against the cage dimensions listed on the product page.

Your dog should have enough room to sit, stand and travel comfortably, while the cage should still fit securely inside your vehicle. If you are unsure which size is right, or you need advice on vehicle fitment, get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer delivery?

Yes, we ship to all of the UK and Ireland, including remote areas like the Highlands and Scottish Islands. Please refer to our delivery information page for full details.

How do I know which dog cage will fit my vehicle?

Measure the maximum usable space in your boot, van or load area, then compare it against the cage size shown on the product page. Check the width, height and depth at the narrowest points, especially around wheel arches, sloped seats and tailgate openings.

How do I choose the right cage size for my dog?

Your dog should have enough room to stand, turn around and lie down comfortably. The cage should not be excessively large, as a closer fit gives better support during travel.

Do I need to secure the cage inside the vehicle?

A dog cage should sit securely in the vehicle and should not move during travel. Some setups may require fixing points, straps or a fitted layout depending on the vehicle and cage type.

Do you offer bespoke dog cages?

Yes. Bespoke cages are made to order for specific vehicles, layouts and dog requirements. Send your measurements and requirements for a quote.
