Description
The DB144D Double Dog Transport Cage Kit is a stacked top and bottom cage setup for vans and larger vehicle conversions, it contains two DB144 cages. It gives you two full width double cages in one modular system, making better use of the vehicle height while keeping dogs securely separated during transport.
Each cage includes a removable centre partition, so the compartments can be kept split for two dogs or opened into a larger single space when needed. Twin escape doors give additional access from inside the vehicle if the rear doors cannot be opened, which is useful in loaded vans, working setups and tighter spaces.
The two cages fix together as part of a modular setup and can be anchored into the vehicle for a more secure installation. This makes the DB144D a strong option for professional users, trainers and working dog owners who need a larger transport system rather than a single floor level cage.
Both cages are built with a powder coated finish and fitted with 3mm anti slip rubber matting to give dogs better footing during travel. Lockable keyed alike latches keep the doors secured when the vehicle doors or canopy are open, while tie down fixing points in the sides and roof give proper securing options inside the van.
The cages arrive fully assembled, but some fitting is required to join the boxes together and secure them into the vehicle. Professional installation is available at our workshop for customers who would rather have the kit fitted in-house.
