Description

The Dog Box UK Dog Cage Fan Unit gives extra airflow inside your dog cage during vehicle travel. It runs from a cigarette lighter socket or standard 12V vehicle port, making it a practical option for cars, vans and working vehicles.

The unit is fitted with a 12V fan and a 4m lead. It fits all cage doors and selected fan points, depending on the cage model.

Airflow is gentle rather than forceful. It moves air through the cage without blowing bedding, leads or loose items around, which makes it useful for warm weather, longer journeys and dogs travelling in enclosed load areas.

Power draw is low, so it is suitable for regular use from a vehicle 12V supply.

Need help choosing the right dog cage?

Choosing the correct dog cage depends on your dog, your vehicle and how you plan to use it. Before ordering, we recommend checking your available boot or load space and comparing it against the cage dimensions listed on the product page.

Your dog should have enough room to sit, stand and travel comfortably, while the cage should still fit securely inside your vehicle. If you are unsure which size is right, or you need advice on vehicle fitment, get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer delivery?

Yes, we ship to all of the UK and Ireland, including remote areas like the Highlands and Scottish Islands. Please refer to our delivery information page for full details.

How do I know which dog cage will fit my vehicle?

Measure the maximum usable space in your boot, van or load area, then compare it against the cage size shown on the product page. Check the width, height and depth at the narrowest points, especially around wheel arches, sloped seats and tailgate openings.

How do I choose the right cage size for my dog?

Your dog should have enough room to stand, turn around and lie down comfortably. The cage should not be excessively large, as a closer fit gives better support during travel.

Do I need to secure the cage inside the vehicle?

A dog cage should sit securely in the vehicle and should not move during travel. Some setups may require fixing points, straps or a fitted layout depending on the vehicle and cage type.

Do you offer bespoke dog cages?

Yes. Bespoke cages are made to order for specific vehicles, layouts and dog requirements. Send your measurements and requirements for a quote.
